Aquatic Exercise has many advantages. Buoyancy takes the stress off joints, providing a safer medium for rehab and exercise. There is a wide assortment of aquatic equipment out on the market. One of my favorites is Aqualogix. Aqualogix Resistance Handbells are designed to strengthen muscles, improve muscle tone and enhance muscular coordination. Bells can also be used to build aerobic endurance. I have been using them with my private fitness clients. You can successfully determine the level of water resistance desired, tailoring each exercise to individual needs, because Aqualogix bells are coming in 3 different sizes. Aqualogix Fins can be worn comfortably on the ankles for lower body conditioning and aerobic work. My individual experience is very positive as well with my private clients.
